Milena PAVLOVIĆ (1990, Brindisi) is a researcher in our Paris team with Italian-Serbian background.
In September 2014 she gratuaded from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) with a Master degree in Ethnology and Social Athnropology. The focus of her research was directed on post-Yugoslav space and societies after wars from the 90’s.
During the academic year 2013-2014, she conducted a field research in Paris working on how Serbian emigrants relate to the memory of the past, reflecting on diversity of disours, positions and places frequented by her interlocutors.
Currently, her professional interest is focused on forms of violence that run through the urban space of the city of Mitrovica and the logic of division that makes the northern Kosovo a border land.
Milena speaks English, French, Italian and Serbo-Croatian.
